Children's Church  

Sunday mornings, 10:30am
Children ages 5-12

Children are dismissed from the Sunday morning worship service following the prayer time so that they may engage in their own study and fellowship at a more age appropriate level.  Children's Church begins each week with the Prayer Circle. 

Each child is invited to share one good thing that happened to them during the week, one thing they're worried about, and one thing they're looking forward to. 

After sharing, the children pray together.  Next, it's time for the lesson. 

We use Bishop Desmond Tutu's Storybook Bible. 

After reading the scripture, the children discuss what it means to them, and then do an activity or game related to the lesson. 

Last, but not least, the children are sent back to their parents with a healthy snack.
